Alongside Fleurie and Chiroubles the domaine farms a small Morgon holding, and Terre d'Alizarine is the result. The name comes from the alizarine plant, known for its red flowers.\n\nThe wine comes from just half a hectare of south facing vines over 70 years old, on sandy granite soils. It is made entirely in cement tanks with 100% whole bunches and indigenous yeasts. Expect deep, perfumed aromas with hints of violet, a full palate of fresh bright fruit and exotic spice, and soft, round, silky tannins with enough structure to age for a few years.
