Quite red hued fruit backed by savoury spice, tiny touch of pepper, with time a little blackberry here as well. Medium plus intensity acidity, quite worked on the palate; dense; chewy fruit and coarse flour textured tannins belies then nose and it has a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish.
