From a single block on the old Romano Vineyard this is McLaren Vale Shiraz at its best. It opens with briary fruits, subtle spice and musk, then draws you in with dark berry flavors and firm yet elegant tannin's.
Vinification
7 day open ferment with regular pump over. 12 months in new (30%), 2 year old (40%) and 3 year old (30%) French oak. Bottled without fining or filtration.
Nose
Varietal aromas of dark berries and vanilla, with musk, spice and chocolate playing a supporting role.
