2023 Kangarilla Road Nero d’Avola
2023 was Australia’s coolest year since 2012. It was a difficult and challenging year in the vineyard for most people, with wet, windy and cool weather. Most regions in South Australia had to deal with avoiding significant problems with diseases such as Downy Mildew and experienced below-average yields. Our Nero d’Avola was sourced from a single vineyard whose owner is passionate about alternate varieties.

This wine smells bright and red and seductively playful! Red fruit pastilles, Allens Wild Raspberries, red cherries, raspberry liquorice tempered by spicy, slightly herbal notes. The deliciously multi layered palate sings of fresh raspberries and spices captured in a sensuously round mouthfeel. So good.
