Tasting note
This is a vatted rye and corn whiskey from Nosferatu Distillery, a limited release drawn from what the distillery calls The Eclipsed Barrel, aged in a Bowen Hills cellar.
The two grains are made separately. The corn spirit comes from a direct fired copper pot still and spends five unbroken years in wood, while the rye is produced with a mix of column and pot distillation. Across the blend, the average age is 42 months, in a combination of French and American oak.
Each oak plays its part. The French casks bring sweetness, spice, fruit and a subtle port like note, and the heavily toasted American casks add vanilla and a touch of smoke.
Nosferatu suggests sipping it neat or making a classic Old Fashioned. It is bottled at 45% in a 500ml bottle. More from the distillery is in our Nosferatu collection.

Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
