Winemaking Notes
Hand picked, whole bunched pressed to tank. Cold settled for 1 day then racked to barrel. 100% barrel ferment. Mixture of puncheons (500 litre) and barriques (225 litre). 40% new oak. No stirring. Malolactic 75% complete. Maturation for 9 months in barrel.
Tasting
Aromas of overt corella pear with hazelnut kernel. Lime zest and hints of nectarine. Lime zest carries through to the palate. Textural pithiness. Fresh and vibrant with great drive and tension offset but mouthfilling flavours of stonefruit.
