Overview
The Estate label showcases unique blocks in various areas located around the property. Notably many of the blocks are located on the banks of Pittwater and the
slopes of Riversdale Valley. A series that encompasses both old and new vines. Focus and attention are applied to each block and vintage & handled individually in our
state-of-the-art winery before blending.

Vintage Conditions
2021 was a very challenging year from a viticulture perspective with the weather elevating disease pressure in the vineyard early in the season. Summer was moderate to cool which allowed for good slow ripening which led to acid and fruit retention. Early April brought a
week of warmer days to help ripen fruit in a timely manner.
Winemaking
Heavy solids get settled for 6-12hours before the juice goes directly to oak barriques where the juice gets fermented with a selection of different yeast strains to showcase the terroir of Riversdale Estate. Wine spent 8 months in a selection of new, 2nd and 3rd fill barrels.
30% malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Note
Yellow peach, melon, citrus, and struck match on the nose with hints of cashew. Palate shows ripeness and texture with a presence of oak and spice, the finish is long with
lime and citrus and orange blossom. Refreshing mineral acid.
