Zinfandel is traditionally a warm grape variety that is renowned for its challenging characters, attempted by only the bravest of winemakers.

Rich plum, blackberry and raspberry swirl around the glass finished with American oak. The Zinfandel has spent 24 months in American 'Hogshead' oak prior to bottling at our vineyard. This wine is a must for the discerning collector.

Zinfandel is a grape variety with origins from BC Croatia and has a long history in California where its arrival can be traced back to 1849. 

Zinfandel is not widely grown in Australia and Wood Park Wines is lucky enough to have grown this grape on the estate since 2005.
