Tasting note
Yes, it is meant to be green. La Verte from Brasserie du Mont Blanc is a top-fermented herb and spice ale, brewed with water from Mont Blanc and barley malt, then flavoured with a plant spirit that is at least 60% génépi, the alpine herb better known as a liqueur. The brewery describes it as expert work that joins the brewer's craft with the liqueur maker's.
Tasting. The colour is bold and unusual, and the beer behind it is fine and harmonious, with floral génépi notes and a carefully measured bitterness. It is 5.9% alcohol in a 330ml bottle.
Serving. The brewery recommends pouring it very cold, at about 3°C, into a brasserie-style glass. Match it with hard cheeses, grilled chicken or grilled vegetables, or serve it as a pre-dinner beer for anyone curious about génépi who has not tried the liqueur.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
