Tasting note
Compagnie des Indes is an independent rum bottler, founded in 2015 by Florent Beuchet, that selects rums from more than 15 countries and refines them in France. This bottling is a 9 year old from Guyana.
It comes from the Diamond Distillery, the last distillery still working in Guyana. Diamond gathers the country's historic stills under one roof, the Port Mourant double wooden pot still among them, and runs them alongside modern equipment.
Nose. Fruit forward, with peach, mango and papaya and a touch of candied citrus.
Palate. Floral and bittersweet, with clove, liquorice and ripe mango.
Finish. Vegetal and a little bitter.

Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
