Tasting note
Delord 1959 is a vintage Bas Armagnac from the 1959 harvest, distilled and aged by the Delord family at Lannepax in Gascony.
Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller, founded the house at Lannepax in 1893 and it has stayed in the family since. Armagnac is distilled on a continuous column still rather than the pot still used for Cognac, at a lower strength, which leaves more of the grape in the spirit and is why young Armagnac tastes rustic and old Armagnac tastes extraordinary. The Bas Armagnac is the region's most prized district, on sandy soils that give a rounder, fruitier style. Bottled at 40% ABV after decades in oak.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
