Tasting note
Dudognon calls its VSOP a young cognac of real finesse. The family still distils the old way, heating two copper stills, dated 1901 and 1936, with a wood fire, then ages the spirit in Limousin oak with no added sugar, wood extract or caramel. The blend is 90% Ugni Blanc and 10% Montils.
Eye. Clear and bright, golden.
Nose. Elegant vanilla, with a delicate woodiness and exotic fruit.
Palate. Round and fresh, with a lasting aromatic persistence; given some air, honey comes through.
Serve it over ice as an aperitif or mix it in cocktails. The house also matches it with fresh sheep's milk cheese or Roquefort. More in our cognac collection.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
