Tasting note
Larchago Tempranillo is a young red Rioja from Bodegas Familia Chavarri in Rioja Alavesa.
Tempranillo is the backbone of Rioja and the variety that gives the region its identity: red fruit, moderate tannin and the ability to take oak without losing shape. Larchago is the Chavarri family's Rioja range, running from young wines like this one up to reserva bottlings. Rioja Alavesa is the northern subzone, cooler than Rioja Baja and sheltered by the Sierra de Cantabria, and its wines tend to be brighter and more aromatic.
Serve at cool room temperature with grilled lamb, chorizo or a plate of jamon.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
