Douglas Laing's Old Particular Glentauchers 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky
Douglas Laing and Co's Old Particular range of Scotch Whisky consist of unique bottlings of hand selected Single Cask Scotch Whisky, bottled without colouring or chill filtering and at higher ABV's, just as the distiller intended..
The Glentauchers Distillery is found in the Speyside scotch whisky region, and is owned by Chivas Brothers. This bottling of Glentauchers 15 year old Scotch Whisky was distilled in December 2007 and matured in a single refill butt before bottling in February of 2023.
Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Big, meaty, round and full of cream, coffee, macerated fruit and spiced aroma. Palate: Tongue-tingling spices open matters, warming to citrus, muscovado sugar and barley. Finish: Arrives with fizz, plus coconut, sprinkled chocolate, a distinct piquancy and cereal" (FHL).
The cask outturn was 765 bottles, and is bottled at 48.4% ABV.
