Tasting note
Where many Cognac houses blend batches from different origins, Grosperrin bottles single lots and tells the story behind each one. This 1992 Petite Champagne comes from a small, traditional farm of 12 hectares of vines at Salles-de-Barbezieux, on what Grosperrin calls one of the most beautiful terroirs of the cru. The farm grows cereals alongside its vines and keeps a few animals. The spirit is mostly Ugni Blanc, and the farm's own distiller ran it through a small still at the property.
Ageing. Grosperrin credits its humid cellars with giving this Cognac a fine texture, and says the last reduction opened up the aromas while keeping it in balance.
Tasting. Old gold. On the nose, dried grapes, apricot, peaches ripened in the sun and candied orange zest. The attack is direct and confirms that aromatic power, and the finish is fairly woody while staying on the fruit.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
