Tasting note
This certified organic white Pineau des Charentes from Méry Melrose is made by marrying fresh white grape must with young cognac, then ageing the blend in oak barrels. The grapes are mainly Montils and Colombard, and it is bottled at 17.5%.
What to expect. Golden in the glass. Passionfruit and honey rise from the nose, and the palate is fresh, sweet and fruity, with the spirit sitting in good balance against the fruit.
Serving. Chill it to between 8 and 10°C and pour it before dinner, or use it as the base of a cocktail. With food, Méry Melrose suggests cheese tartlets, crêpes Suzette or ice cream. More pre-dinner bottles are in our aperitifs collection.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
