Tasting note
Muga Reserva is a classically styled red Rioja from Bodegas Muga at Haro, in the heart of Rioja Alta.
Isaac Muga Martinez and his wife Aurora Cano founded the bodega in 1932 and it is still family run. Haro's Barrio de la Estacion holds a remarkable concentration of the region's historic houses, and Muga is among the most traditional of them. Reserva is a legal Rioja category with minimum ageing requirements in oak and in bottle before release, and the wine is built on tempranillo with garnacha, mazuelo and graciano.
Serve at cool room temperature with lamb, beef or aged sheep's cheese. Decant it if it is young.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
