Tasting note
Frapin Extra is a very old cognac from Chateau de Fontpinot at Segonzac, made entirely from the family's own Grande Champagne vineyards.
The Frapin family have been documented in the Charente since 1270, and the house is one of the few in Cognac that is genuinely single estate: it grows the Ugni Blanc, distils it and ages the spirit on the same property, across roughly 240 hectares planted entirely within Grande Champagne, the first of the cognac crus. Extra sits at the top of the standard range, drawn from the oldest reserves in the family's cellars, where Grande Champagne's chalky soils give a spirit that ages slowly and holds its floral lift.
Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, after dinner.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
