Carn Mor Strictly Limited Williamson (Laphroaig) 9 year old (2015) Islay Scotch Whisky
Distilled in 2015, this exceptional bottling of Carn Mor Williamson Laphroaig Scotch Whisky spent 9 years maturing in ex-sherry hogsheads before being bottled in 2024 at 47.5% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1623 bottles were produced.
Expect subtle spice and stonefruit with dried apricots and phenolic peat-smoke clinging to the palate.
The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. As real as it gets.
Williamson is a name used to sell Laphroaig malt whisky to independent bottlers. It is named after the famous distillery manager and owner Bessie Williamson who steered Laphroaig to success in the US before and after World War II.
