Tasting note
Beer is what Amer Bière was made for. In France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland it is customary to add a small measure to a glass of beer, where its orange and bitter notes change the flavour. It also stands on its own, poured over ice before dinner.
What goes into it. Distillerie Bertrand builds this bittersweet aperitif on gentian and on quinine, which comes from cinchona bark, and gives it a bold orange character. Find more pre-dinner bottles in our aperitifs collection.
Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
Case minimums
Some products are sold only in cases of three, six or twelve. Where that applies it is stated above the add to cart button, not discovered at checkout.
Cases ship as a single carton. The per-case price shown includes every bottle in the case.
