Tasting note
Domaine de Joÿ is an estate at Panjas in Gascony, certified High Environmental Value, and this XO is its 10 year old Bas-Armagnac, blended from Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes.
The wine is distilled on the estate in a single distillation, soon after fermentation. Straight off the still, the spirit goes into new oak: Gascon casks for character and Limousin casks for suppleness. Once it has taken up tannin, it moves to older casks to reach a balance of wood and fruit, with regular aeration along the way.
Tasting. Golden in colour. The nose is already well developed and woody, rich in vanilla with a floral lift. On the palate it starts gently, all vanilla and spice, before the oak returns and carries a long finish.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
