Tasting note
Domingo's Guerrero bottling is a mezcal from Mazatlán, in the Mexican state of Guerrero, made by the Obregón family from papalote, the local name for Agave cupreata. Domingo notes that Guerrero is said to be one of the cradles of agriculture on the continent.
How it is made. The semi-wild agave is cooked in a conical underground oven lined with river stones and fired with tepehuaje, oak and other woods, then shredded mechanically. It ferments naturally in open wooden vats with native yeast and is distilled twice in copper pot stills, then brought down to strength with well water.
Tasting. Domingo finds elegant woods such as cedar on the nose, with green capsicum, clove and tobacco. The palate is green and persistent, with a pleasant thread of smoke and well-balanced alcohol.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
