Tasting note

Downpour is the gin of North Uist Distillery Co., founded by islanders Jonny Ingledew and Kate MacDonald and made at Nunton Steadings on Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. The range takes its name from the Atlantic downpours that shape the islands, and the core gin is built on juniper, citrus and wild Hebridean heather. This zesty edition, first released in December 2020, brings big, bold pink grapefruit flavour with a little lift from pink peppercorns. It is bottled at 40% in a frosted pink version of the distillery's rain-patterned bottle. Serve long with tonic, plenty of ice and a slice of grapefruit or a sprig of rosemary.

Delivery information

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
