Tasting note
Batch 024 belongs to Champagne Dumangin's whiskies of the world. Gilles Dumangin, a fifth-generation winemaker at Chigny-les-Roses, collects whiskies from distilleries around the world and finishes them in the casks that held his Ratafia Champenois, giving each one what the family calls a Champagne twist.
This batch. A single malt distilled in Goa, India, in January 2017. It spent four years in a bourbon cask under Goa's exotic climate, then 24 months in Ratafia Champenois cask T-073 in the Dumangin cellars, and went into 212 numbered bottles in August 2023, at six years old, 46.4% and without chill filtering.
Tasting. Complex tropical and orchard fruit, manuka honey, spice and wax, finishing on malt, honey, spice and fruit. Dumangin sums it up as a blend of power and delicacy.

Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
