Tasting note
Two kinds of strawberry go into this liqueur from Gabriel Boudier: cultivated strawberries and wild ones. The Dijon house macerates the fruit in alcohol at high concentration, adds a blackcurrant infusion for colour and acidity, and dissolves the sugar cold, straight into the infusion. It sits beside the house Cassis in Boudier's fruity and woody range, and it is bottled at 20%.
In the glass. Ruby red. The nose is full of fruit, with wild, floral and gourmand touches, and the palate has length, roundness and depth.
Using it. Lengthen it with sparkling wine, dry white wine or sparkling water, or mix it into cocktails. For dessert, spoon it over fromage blanc as a topping or coulis. More in our fruit liqueurs collection.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
