Tasting note
Moulin Rouge Extra is a joint release between the Paris cabaret and Jean Fillioux, a family cognac house whose Domaine de la Pouyade at Juillac-le-Coq has belonged to the family since 1894. Its 25 hectares of vines grow on a limestone hilltop in the heart of the Grande Champagne, planted mainly to Ugni Blanc.
Fillioux calls the blend an X.O Extra. It is bottled at 40% in a grand 700ml decanter, which is presented in a case scattered with stars.
Tasting. Bright amber in the glass. Vanilla, orange marmalade, pear and quince lead the aromas, with leather and praline rounding out a notably soft, sweet profile.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
