Tasting note
La Salamandre makes this single malt entirely in the Périgord, at its distillery in Sarlat. It is distilled from a mix of brown and blond barley, lightly peated at 10%.
The whisky is first aged at the distillery in casks that once held sweet wine, then moved into La Salamandre's own Vieille Prune barrels for a finishing period. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery sees it as a whisky for the end of a meal, though it can open one as well. Pour a small measure neat, without ice, and do not mix it with anything else, so the aromas from the finishing casks come through.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
