Tasting note
Normandin-Mercier has made cognac and Pineau des Charentes for five generations, since 1872, and ages its cognacs in traditional cellars near La Rochelle, where the ocean evens out the temperature. Its Vieille Fine Champagne is bottled at 40%, and the house says the blend tastes of 15 years of age.
Tasting. A light amber colour and a fruity nose of almond and plum, with a good attack. The house suggests it at the end of a meal.
The blend draws on the two leading crus, and Normandin-Mercier describes what each brings: Grande Champagne gives finesse, length and distinction, Petite Champagne subtlety, delicacy and softness. Its eaux de vie start with 12 to 14 months in new 350 litre oak casks, then move to larger 550 or 600 litre barrels. See the full range in our Normandin-Mercier collection.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
