Tasting note
Protocolo Blanco Organico is a certified organic Spanish white made from macabeo, bottled as Vino de la Tierra de Castilla.
Protocolo is Marcos Eguren's value label, made away from the family's Rioja base on organically farmed vineyards at 600 to 700 metres on poor limestone and clay soils. The fruit is given a short cold maceration and fermented cool in stainless steel with no oak, then bottled early to keep the wine fresh. Macabeo is the same grape as viura in Rioja and is one of the workhorse whites of northern Spain.
Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or with tapas, seafood and salads.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
