Tasting note
Saint James is the Martinique rum house whose distillery has stood at Sainte-Marie, on the island's Atlantic coast, since 1973. This organic white is the one it calls Brut de Colonne Bio: rum taken at 74.2% as it comes off the traditional Creole column, from cane grown on selected plots that have been farmed organically for several years and cut when fully ripe.
In the glass. Crystal clear and bright.
Nose. Aromatic and rich, yet not aggressive for the strength. Sweet cane and honey lead, then give way to drier plant notes, like black tea and herbal infusions.
Palate. Broad and complex, with an exotic sweetness, candied citrus and yellow fruit, and the fresh green edge of ripe cane.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
