Tasting note
Fee Brothers Old Fashion Aromatic Bitters is the house aromatic from the Fee family's Rochester, New York bitters works, bottled at 17.5% ABV.
Fee Brothers has been making cocktail bitters, cordials and syrups in Rochester since the 1860s and is now in its fifth generation. The Old Fashion is their take on the classic aromatic style: warm baking spice and bitter root rather than citrus, built to be the backbone of a spirit-forward drink rather than a top note. It is one of the alcohol-based bottles in a range where the strengths vary a great deal from flavour to flavour.
Two or three dashes over sugar and whiskey is the whole point of it. It works equally well in a Manhattan.
Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
