Tasting note
Clase Azul Gold is a joven tequila inspired by the glow of Mexican sunsets. It combines three tequilas: Clase Azul Plata, a special reposado aged in French oak, and an extra añejo given a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The decanter. The glass darkens as it rises, a picture of dusk closing over the golden light, and it sits on a ceramic base.
Tasting. Golden with brilliant highlights, medium bodied. The nose shows toasted wood, agave nectar, orange peel and almond, with touches of fresh fig, raisin and walnut. On the palate, cooked agave, almond and fig marmalade lead to a long finish of cacao and dried plum.
Pairing. Clase Azul suggests aged cow's milk cheese, mussels and roasted scallops, and fruit such as tangerine, golden apple and D'Anjou pear. For more agave, see our tequila collection.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
