Tasting note
Genepi is an alpine herbal liqueur, and the herb that gives it its name is artemisia, a small wormwood relative gathered on the mountain in midsummer. It is gentler than a green herbal liqueur of the chartreuse type, sweeter and more floral, with chamomile, sage and mint the notes that come through clearly.
At 45 per cent it has more grip than the sweetness suggests, so it takes ice well. The classic serve is neat at the end of a meal in a small glass, cold. Over ice with tonic it becomes a long herbal drink for a warm evening. A measure stirred into hot chocolate is the alpine version and it is genuinely good.
In cocktails it works where a recipe calls for a herbal liqueur and you want something less aggressive than the usual options. 750ml at 45 per cent, made at Chambery in France.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
