Tasting note
Gabriel Boudier, the liqueur house in Dijon, has revived the old Fontbonne name with Fontbonne 1874, a herbal liqueur that keeps the brand's historic codes and gives them a more modern, elegant look.
The recipe brings together 26 plants, roots and spices, chosen for a powerful but balanced result.
Colour and nose. A luminous green. The bouquet is complex, mixing herbal, spicy and aniseed notes, lifted by a minty freshness.
Palate. Fresh on entry, then intense liquorice and cinnamon that last. The finish is long, warm and spicy.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
