Tasting note
Generous is a French artisan gin, and the thinking behind it was simple: something original but easy to enjoy, made above all to give a great gin and tonic. The makers set out to use natural ingredients from the French tradition and precise distillation in small pot stills.
Tasting. Bright and clear to look at. On the nose it is fine and floral, juniper first, softened by the white flowers. In the mouth citrus and spice burst through and freshen the juniper, with sweet floral touches and a thread of jasmine. The finish has good length, carried by red pepper, citrus and juniper.
What goes in. Six natural ingredients: juniper, citrus, mandarin, red pepper, jasmine and elderflower. Traditional methods only, with some macerated and others distilled, and that natural character comes through in the clean style and sharp, well matched flavours.
Serve. With tonic, as intended, or in a French Negroni.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
