Tasting note
Gran Cofradía Reposado is a tequila from La Cofradía, the house founded by Carlos Hernández Hernández, whose hacienda stands in the town of Tequila in Jalisco. As a reposado it has rested in barrel, and the wood shows in both the nose and the palate.
Nose. It opens earthy and a little damp, with light fruit and a fine scent of cooked agave. With air come vanilla and caramel, gentle oak spice and a hint of cinnamon. Some tasters also find brine, melon and cake batter.
Palate. Soft, round, almost velvety. Sweet agave leads, joined by light citrus, caramel, toasted wood and vanilla, a touch of chocolate and gentle spice, and a faint note of dried fruit to close.
Finish. Long and warm, mildly sweet, with fine roasted notes and a peppery edge.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
