Aromatic and vivacious with dark cherries, spices, and pomegranate on the nose and palate. The ‘Abel’ clone has several stories around its provenance, but what is not a story is the intense work behind this wine. The vines were cropped at 2kg per vine, which is on the lowest-yielding spectrum for grape vines. In the mount, the balance between fruit, oak and is perfect, as is its length on the finish.
