Tasting note
Marc is the spirit distilled from what is left after the grapes are pressed, and this aged version comes from Domaine Jacques Tissot in Arbois, in the Jura. Jacques Tissot founded the estate in 1962 on a parcel inherited from his father, and it now covers 30 hectares across the Arbois and Côtes du Jura appellations. This marc is made from red grape varieties.
Appearance. Bright, attractive gold, with a few particles visible in the glass.
Nose. Waxy, almost like crayon at first, turning fruity and spicy with air, then clean, juicy dried fig and prune.
Palate. A light, silky entry, then a graceful, fairly dry middle with spice, wax, raisin and fig, and lively spice for depth.
Finish. Warm, waxy and drying, with spiced dried fruit returning, and good length. Other pomace spirits are in our marcs and grappa collection.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
