Tasting note
Pastis de Campagne is the country-style pastis from Maison Jean Boyer at Saint-Geours-de-Maremne. The house created it in 2000, inspired by the old winegrowers who distilled their own marc and flavoured it with plants gathered nearby, such as wild fennel, angelica, sage, lemon balm and thyme.
It is built on a grape spirit, an eau de vie de vin, enriched with a long list of spices and aromatic plants. Across its pastis, Jean Boyer works with anywhere from 20 to 78 botanicals. They are macerated cold for hours or days, stirred by hand with a wooden rake, filtered through cloth and then aged in jars. The blend rests for at least six months before the anethole and liquorice are added, and it is made with very little sugar.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
