Tasting note
A Sicilian bitter liqueur from Casa Limonio, based at Partinico in the province of Palermo. The recipe brings together spirit distilled from Sicilian wine grapes, an infusion of bitter orange peel with herbs and roots from the Mediterranean scrub, sugar and water.
Colour. Honeyed brown.
Nose. Mediterranean scrub and damp earth.
Palate. Strong and intense in character, yet soft and harmonious, with good length.
Serving. Chill it hard: the ideal serving temperature is between minus 5 and minus 8 degrees. It works as an aperitif over ice, or lengthened with tonic, soda, gin, prosecco, champagne or another sparkling wine. More bitter liqueurs are in our amaro collection.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
