Tasting note
Chilled limoncello with real lemon peel character: Limonio makes this one by infusing the peel of Femminello di Zagara Bianca lemons grown on the family's own land at Partinico in Sicily. The recipe is an old family one, handed down through generations.
Colour. Olive green, deeper or lighter depending on the fruit used for each infusion.
Nose. Intense lemon, driven by the essential oils in the peel.
Palate. Bold and fragrant, like lemons just picked from the tree.
At the table. Serve it straight from the freezer in small glasses once the plates are cleared. Limonio suggests it alongside fish dishes and with desserts, creams, biscuits, ice cream and fresh fruit, and it is a handy cocktail ingredient: try a splash in a spritz or over a fruit salad. Delivery information
Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
