Tasting note
From Distillerie Metté in Ribeauvillé, Alsace, this is a clear spirit distilled from juniper berries. The berries are picked in autumn, macerated, then given a single distillation in the house's copper pot stills. It is not chill filtered and rests in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
In the glass. Transparent and bright.
Nose. Expressive, peppery and a little woody.
Palate. Intense yet fresh, bringing fresh berry, thorn and resin, and a finish with real intensity.
Serving. Metté recommends pouring it at 13°C into a tulip glass. It comes in the house's 500ml bottle at 45%. More Alsace fruit spirits are in our eau de vie collection.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
