Tasting note
Wheat vodka with a texture you can actually taste, which is the only thing that matters once you are drinking it neat or in a martini. The base is winter wheat and the spirit carries the grain rather than scrubbing it out: biscuit and malted barley on the nose, a roasted note through the middle closer to toasted rice than to anything sweet, and nougat on the finish.
That weight is an advantage in a vodka martini. Stir it very cold with a splash of dry vermouth at five to one, and use a lemon twist rather than an olive so the grain note stays visible. Neat from the freezer works for the same reason. In a white russian it holds its shape against the coffee liqueur instead of disappearing.
Where it is not the right pick is a long mixed drink with a strong flavour of its own, where the character it has is wasted. 40 per cent, 700ml, distilled at Pons in France.

Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
