Tasting note
Roger Groult Hydromel is a Calvados Pays d'Auge from the Groult family's estate at Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray in Normandy, given a hydromel cask finish.
Pierre Groult began distilling at the Clos de la Hurvaniere around 1850 and the family has held it through five generations, with Jean-Roger Groult in charge since 2008. Pays d'Auge is the senior Calvados appellation and the only one that requires the cider to be double distilled in a pot still, the same slow method used in Cognac, which is why its spirits carry more weight and age longer than column-distilled Calvados.
Serve neat at room temperature after dinner, or use it in a Normandy twist on an old fashioned.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
