Tasting note
St Raphaël added two Quinas to its range in 2018, a Red and an Amber, both drawn from original recipes and designed as a nod to the sweet, rich style the brand was known for in the 1950s. This is the Red.
Like every St Raphaël, it begins with mistelle, grape juice fortified with alcohol to stop fermentation so the grape keeps its natural sugar. Quinquina bark, bitter orange peel, vanilla and cocoa are then slowly macerated, and the cellar master blends the result until it is in balance.
Tasting. Cocoa leads a mix of plants and spices. The attack is powerful and strongly winey, held in check by sweetness and by firm tannins from the quinquina bark and Colombo. It builds to orange peel, chocolate and vanilla.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
