Tasting note
Togouchi Single Malt is the flagship of Sakurao Distillery in the Hiroshima region. It is aged three years in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks and bottled without added colour or chill filtration.
Tasting. A fresh nose of vanilla, apple and orange marmalade leads into a round, sweet palate of dried fruit and a sugary note. The finish is short and bright, with sweet spice and ginger.
Where it is made. Togouchi places its whiskies between land and sea. Distillation happens near the Seto Inland Sea, and the casks then rest in cellars in the small town of Akiota-Togouchi, at the foot of Mount Osorakan. Discover the other expressions in our Togouchi collection.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
