Tasting note
Kopke 10 Years Old Tawny is a cask-aged tawny port from Kopke of the Douro Valley, a house founded in 1638.
An aged tawny is a blend, and the number on the label is the average age of the wines that went into it rather than the age of any single cask. Ten years in wood is long enough for the colour to fade from red towards amber and for the fruit to move from fresh to dried, picking up almond and caramel along the way, while the wine keeps a fresher line than the older bottlings. Kopke's deep library of old wood-aged stocks is what makes this category its own.
Serve lightly chilled with almonds, hard cheese or a custard tart.

New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
