Tasting note
Kopke 30 Years Old Tawny is a long cask-aged tawny port from Kopke of the Douro Valley, a house founded in 1638.
Thirty years is a serious commitment of cask space, and only a handful of houses hold enough old stock to blend at this level. Kopke's library of wood-aged port is among the deepest in the Douro. At this age the wine has gone right past red into a pale tawny-amber with a green rim, the fruit has dried out to fig and date, and what dominates is oxidative complexity: walnut, old wood, caramel and orange peel, with a very long, dry finish.
Serve lightly chilled in a small glass. It needs no food, though nuts and hard cheese do it no harm.

Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
