Tasting note
A single-year calvados from Christian Drouin, the Normandy house where three generations of the Drouin family have made calvados. The 1988 was twice distilled in a copper pot still and then aged in casks that had previously held sherry, and that cask shows clearly in the glass.
Colour. Amber.
Nose. Classic Oloroso-cask character, with honey and brown sugar.
Palate. Full bodied and rich, with a long, lingering finish.

Most orders to New Zealand leave within 2 to 7 business days depending on the item. If anything is delayed we will tell you.
New Zealand orders travel by tracked international post. The cost is calculated at checkout. The free delivery threshold offered in Australia does not apply to New Zealand orders.
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. Orders may attract New Zealand customs duty, GST and clearance fees on arrival. Those costs are set by New Zealand Customs, are payable by the recipient, and are not collected by Liquor Wine Cave.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
