Tasting note
Don Zoilo is the sherry range that Williams & Humbert launched in Jerez in the 1960s, and its fino is a very dry wine from the Palomino grape. The fruit comes from the Añina and Carrascal vineyards in Jerez Superior.
Tasting. Bright old gold. Sharp, intense and complex on the nose, with the yeasty character of flor and a note of almond. On the palate it is very dry with good acidity, full in body, assertive yet elegant, and long.
How it gets there: after fermentation the wine is fortified to 15% and enters the criaderas y soleras system at the ninth criadera. It then works its way through the scales in American oak casks, under a layer of flor yeast, until it is drawn from the solera. The result is a mature fino with a pungency close to the amontillado style, and less than 1 gram of sugar per litre.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive a shipping notification with a tracking reference. Larger or mixed orders sometimes travel as more than one parcel, and you will get tracking for each.
Alcohol can only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over. The courier may ask for photo ID and will not leave your order unattended. We do not offer authority to leave on alcohol orders.
